Unedited-raw audio files (other than start and stop points, and possible compression and/or normalization of levels).
An amendment to the ‘rules’ of this podcast. Anything you hear does not have any cuts. All transitions happened as you hear them. There are a lot of places where the jams get loose, where there are off notes, off times, etc which can easily be trimmed out, but that would defeat the purpose of this site: Play, Record, Post.
If you would like a full resolution version of any tracks send an email and we can make it happen. The longer the track the more compressed it is…gotta 7mb limit. now to lazily encode this email address: humaneyes [ATenski] work-sin-progress [dotuski] c o m.
— another note intended for some sort of wiki or press release —
Humaneyes is the band name for a project currently in its infancy. The band releases music in the form of a podcast. Audio has been consistently posted from February 12th 2010.
A quote from the band: “This project has a few key rules: All music you hear has not been sliced, chopped, or edited, in anyway other than start points, end points, level adjustments like fade in and fade outs, and maybe some minimal EQing if deemed necessary. What those constraints allow for is more time creating music than editing it. In the past, the moments of pure inspiration were few and far between if one added up all the production time involved in producing a finished song. This project compromises by showcasing more errors than if it were fully produced, but makes up for it in its authenticity.”
