Well hello there. I am pretty excited about this project. From what I can tell the very nature of this will emphasize 2 key elements in music which I have been immensely distracted from: Playing for long periods of time, and presenting ‘finished’ pieces.
I hope I don’t sound too abstract. This idea is not magical or profound in any way other than its simplicity. I or we play, it’s recorded, its presented to you.
I suppose there are a few rules: No vocals, no editing other than finding a good start and stopping point, maybe a fade out or fade in if appropriate, and then some very light treatment for the levels and EQ if something is WAY off (like the drums are too bassy or the guitar is too twangy…).
